Thanks Jeff and Cindy for giving us a reminder of what the local music scene in Rochester used to be like with your Jeff Cosco and Friends band performing at NOLAs every Wednesday this summer.
It brought back memories of a time when you could count on a great band playing a particular club the same night every week and building a crowd of local followers steadily. When Cheater or Stryder could be found at the Penny Arcade every Tuesday, when Voices played the Riverboat every Thursday, or when you could always count on Harpo being there every other Friday.
You and the musicians you had at NOLA on Wednesdays, who all played with current and former noteable bands in the area, put on a great show every night, and I'm glad someone finally had the balls and the patience to show that steady great bands at clubs on off nights can work here again, and provide local fans with a good reason to go out and have a great time. PS - can't wait to see your Flour City Rockers there tomorrow!

Wasn't "Ribbin' on the River" a blast?!! So many great friends there, old and new...too many to mention (because I'd feel terrible if I left anyone out!). Dana grabbed lots of great shots, so be sure to look at our picture page...maybe you'll see yourself! See EVERYONE out at Nola's BBQ on August 9, 10 pm, for our next show! Thanks for rocking Rochester with us!
Love,
Cindy

"Keep On Rockin'....."
I haven't seen Jeff in 26 or more years,
I have heard him on the Radio in the past, but haven't seen him since The very beginning of "Cheater".
I was walking in the park last night and heard his voice, and had to come running over to see if it was really him.
I enjoyed the short and cold show and had started drinking shots to feel warm......But respect your decision to keep it short and simple on that cold night. What a difference a day makes, today its in the 80's and in the 90's tomorrow.
I enjoyed everyone in the band and just like the good old days when I supported Cheater, I will let my friends know your out there rockin' up a storm and we'll be down to catch the next show.
Best of Luck to the Band,
we'll be looking for you !!!!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone who came out last night for the Flour City Rocker's "sneak preview" performance at Nolas BBQ! We rocked together through the "clinkers" and the "clunkers"...but, together, we all made it a blast! Keep checking back for our ever-growing show schedule. We can't wait to party with you again!
